The Information of Robert Wilson< no role > taken upon
Oath before me William Blackborow< no role > Esqr . One of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
this 24th. Day of August 1786 .

This Informant upon his Oath saith that he lodged at
one Mrs Hages in Hatton Court [..] near Saffron little and that the
Prisoner William Weston< no role > lodged with him That on MondayNight
last the 21st. day of August instant at about the Hour of One of
the Clock in the Night the said William Weston< no role > brought into
the said Lodging the other Prisoner Francis Gattwood< no role > and told
this Informant that she was his the said Wm. Westons< no role > Wife This
Informant would have left the Bed in order for the said Wm.
Weston
< no role > & Frances Gattwood to have went into it thinking they
were Married but the said Frances Gattwood< no role > would not
Consent to his leaving the bed as The would rather sit
up which she did on the side of the Bed This Informant
and the said William Weston< no role > then went to bed and at about
Six of the Clock in the Morning this Informant awaked and
found the Prisoner Frances Gattwood gone and his Breeches
were taken from under his Head and laid in the middle at
the room and his Pocket picked of [..] Three half Guineas in Gold
and Twelve Shillings in [..] Silver his property And
this Informant further on his Oath saith that he verily
believes and suspects that the said Wm. Weston< no role > & Frances
Gattwood
< no role > were Concerned together in Feloniously Stealing the
said Three half Guineas in Gold & Twelve Shillings in Silver his
property as aforesaid.
