Suspicion of Stealing a Gelding. this 10th. day of August 1786
This Informant upon his Oath saith that Charles Smith< no role >
broughthad A
Gelding to sellunto himabout ten o Clock in the mourning on
Wednessday last at the End of Coppiece Row
. said the Gelding was
the property of Cullen Smith< no role >

at Hardley
near Barnett
and that
he was a Labourer
to him at the present time and work in his
Garden-And that. Mr:Smith his master sint him to sell the
Gelding it being Glan [..] ired at London.. Go. Baker ask Charles Smith< no role >
the price of
the Gelding. said he was to have one Guinex and a half for it
after soon conversation charles Smith< no role >
agreed to take one Guinea
for the Galding. and Go. Baker< no role >
being told by Chas: Smith it was
Glandered he Examine the Gelding and found it was not
Glandered and that it was fitwasfor use-Go. Baker told Charles

that he must find some Person to Vouch that he came
honestly by it. he Chs: Smith< no role >

delivered him to an officer to be brought before a Justice to give
a Satisfactory Account how he can by the Galding After his

was informed that the Gelding was not their property and that

did not work or live with Cullen
