Thomas Blake< no role > of paddington Dustman Upon his
Oath Saith that on Thursday the twenty second day of
June last Gippey and Bolton were drinking at The
Coach and Horses about Four oClock and shortly
afterwards the deceased who was Servant to a
Mr. James Allett< no role > who lives near come with a
Cart load of Dust and shot it into the Yard &
as he was coming Out from the Yard. Gippey met
him and struck him twice and kicked him as
Wilkes has described the deceased then turned round and fell backwards into
a Cart of Deponents as if stummed with the blows And Saith that it appeared to him as if he did so to seat himself on the Tail of the Cart which if it had not been there he must have fallen the ground
Saith he afterwards saw Gippey drag the deceased
across the Road and drop [..] him on the Steps
of the Coach & Horses Saith that the next day
Deponent Saw Gippey and asked him if he
thought he had hunt deceased he said he
thought not but he did not care about it
Saith that on Sunday Morning following deceaseds
Wife desired Deponent to shave him which
he did and observed that the Hair on the back
of his head was out off and there was away
large Cruise those which looked black Saith
that he saw him on Monday and that on both Days
he was light headed
