Who being on Oath say and Frist Newcomb King
for Himself says that on Monday Night last about half
past Ten o Clock He tyed his Jack Ass at the Door of the
Ship
the house Mill Bank Row
Whilst He went into the
House with his Wife & another Woman to Drink that in
about a Quarter of an Hour he came out and missed
the Ass that Robert Plomeridge< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
Watchman
informed
him He had seen a Man ride on As up Mill Bank Street
and this Informant further says that on Tuesday Night last

came & informed Him He had bought an
Ass which He believed to be his and that the Ass now
produced is the property of this informant

last about Nine oClock the Prisoner Joseph Cooper< no role >
came
to his House and asked Him to Buy an Ass demanding Six
Shillings for it that this Informant agreed with the said Joseph

for Five Shilling which Sum He paid into the Hand
of a Boy in Company with the said Joseph Cooper< no role >
and that
they immediately divided the Money that being Informed the
Ass was the property of November King He went to his
House in the Evening & Informed him that on the said New=
comb King seing the Ass He Immediately owned it
