Who being upon Oath say and first the said Christiana Davis< no role >
says that very early this Morning
she met with three Men in Piccadilly
Viz. Hugh Nangle< no role >
and
Thomas Smith< no role >
now present and a third man who is not
yet taken, that she went with the said three Men into [..]
Passage near Berkley, Square
where the Said Hugh Nangle
used Indecencies to her and also feloniously took from
her Person out of her Pockets two Handkerchiefs a Hassiff
a Knife and a Boxcontaining [..]
and some Half pence
the said Thomas Smith< no role >
and the other Man who is not
taken standing by whilst the Said Hugh Nangle took the
said things from her, And the said Thomas Underhill< no role >
and
Isaac Barnett< no role >
for themselves say that between one and two
of the Clock this Morning being upon their Duty in Berkley
Square
as Patroling Watchman they heard an Outery in
or near the Passage above mentioned, that they accordingly
went that way and saw the said Hugh Nangle< no role >
and Thomas
Smith< no role >
with a third Man who made his Escape coming out
of the said Passage, that they stopped the said Hugh Nangle
and Thomas Smith< no role >
and in their Pockets found the two
Handkerchiefs the Box and halfpence and Hussiff and
Knife above mentioned of which the said Thomas Smith< no role >
had the said Knife and Box and Halfpence and the
said Hugh Nangle had all the other things
