The Information of [..] Bartholomew RoseComew< no role > and Benjamin Hat [..]
taken on Oath the Twenty Eighth day of April
1785 before me one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex .

Who on his Oath Saith That on Monday the Twenty fifth day
of April Instant early in the Morning there was Feloniously
stolen from his Dwelling house near Haberdashers walk
on the parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex
Two pair of Boots Eight Table Cloths, four Womens shifts
Twelve Handkerchiefs and a large Quantity of other
things the property of the said Bartholomew Roselotty< no role >
And further Saith That one Boot, Two Handkerchiefs
and one pair of Shoes now produced by William Hawes< no role >
a peace Officer is part of the property that was stolen
from his Dwelling house as above mentioned

This Informant Benjamin Harper< no role > on his Oath Saith
That he is a Watchman at Hoxton in the Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch (Middlesex ) and being On his Duty about
two O'Clock in the Morning of the Twenty fifth day of
April Instant near the Swan by Haberdasher walk
at Hoxton he this Informant and one John Jones< no role > a
Patrole heard something like a Cracking and suspecting
where the sound proceeded from they got over into a field
adjoyning to the house of Mr. Roselotty and going down the
Field William Deadross< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. the Prisoner now under Examination
and another man than in his Company came from the
Corner of the field and immediately this Informant seized
Deadross and the other ran away, he took Deadross to
the Watchhouse, and delivered him there and then this
Informant took with him the Officer of the night and
went to the place where they say the Prisoner come
from and there found one feather Bed, One Bolster one
Blanket, Nine Pair of Leather shoes and one Iron
Crow now produced by the said William Hawes< no role > the
Peace Officer
