at No.136 Old Gravel Lane the Wife of William Sanddard< no role > Clock & Watch maker
taken this 14th March 1785 and same Son of Old GravelHeadLane all of the Parish of St. George
Who being on Oath Sayth and first the said Elizabeth Hughes< no role > for herself sayth
That on Friday the 11th. Instant she left her Lodgings situate as aforesaid about the
hour of two in the afternoon that the Cotton Gown and Silk and Cotton Gown Stuff
Pettycoat Bed Gown Black Silk [..] Clock Child Frock and Shirt now
produced are her property were in her Room at the time she left her room the
Door of which she locked and took the Key with her that when she went home
she found she had been robbed And James Jones< no role > Headborough had charge of the
prisoner who says her Name is Ann Fowls< no role > for robbing this Informant

And the said Rice Evans< no role > for himself sayth that on Friday the 11th Instant about
the Hour of Four he lookedintothrough the Glass of the Window of the Room
of the said Elizabeth Hughes< no role > and Saw the Prisoner taking some apparel out of
aDrawDrawer in the said Room. That he pursued her and came up with her in
Worcester Street in aforesaid Lane and brought her back to the Room of the said Elizabeth
Hughes
< no role > with the aforesaid Wearing Apparel except the Black Silk Cloak which she had hed under her Cloak
and which she dropped in the said Room

The said Elizabeth Studdard< no role > for herself sayth That on Thursday the 11th Inst.
about the hour of [..] she saw the prisoner coming towards the [..]
of Rice Evans< no role > situate as aforesaid with her lap fall of things in Custody of
the said Mr. Evans that she followed them into his house and into the Room
of the said Elizabeth Hughes< no role > where she saw the Prisoner drop the aforesaid
Wearing apparel Except the Black Silk Cloak

The said James Jones< no role > for himself sayth that he is Headborough of the said
parish of St. George Middlesex That he was sent for to take charge of the
said Prisoner That he saw her drop the Black Silk Cloak in the Room of the
said Elizabeth Hughes< no role >
