to Henry Thwaites< no role > of Lumber Court Linen
Draper Taken before me this 12th day of
May 1784

Who being on Oath says that in Monday last about 4 oClock
in the Afternoon, a person now present who calls herself sarah
Hall
< no role > came into the said henry Thwaites< no role > s shop in companyt
with another Woman mand desired to look at some cotton that
informant shewed her 14 Yards of Cotton now produced, with
other Cotton. That Informant saw her conceal the said Fourteen
Yards of Cotton under her Petticoats and walk out of the shop
with it That Informant followed her into the street brought
her buck into the Shop, when she dropped the said fourteen
yards of cotton on the floor Thomas Ball< no role >
