Middlesex to wit.


The Information of William Rothwell< no role > , Renben Jackson< no role >
and John Denbigh< no role > taken before me this 11th. day of
May 1784.

Who on their Oath say and first the said William Rothwell< no role > says
that a Quantity of Lead was stolen from the top of his House
No 23 in Stoane Street Knightsbridge , on or about Wednesday
night last the 5th Instant, or Thursday morning the 6th. And
the said Renben Jackson< no role > says that he this Informant hath
since compared the Lead produced by the said John Denbigh< no role > ,
with the Places on the top of said House from which the Lead was
stolen, and finds that the Lead now produced is the same
which was stolen from Mr. Rothwells House as aforesaid
And the said John Denbigh< no role > says that he is a Watchman in
Steane Square. That on Thursday morning last about half past
four o'Clock, he saw Joseph Wright< no role > now present and another
Man coming up the back of Steane Street near said Mr.
Rothwell's House That said Wright had a Basket containing
three Pieces of Lead two of which are now produced and
the other Man had a Knapsack containing six pieces of
Lead. That upon this Informant laying holes of said Joseph
Wright
< no role > the said other Man run away leaving his Knap
sack and Load behind him.
