Information of Peter Mooney< no role > , No. 2 Green
Lettuce Court Fore Street near Cripplegate in the
City of London Mariner and Ann Hall< no role > of the
Plough in Beaufort Buildings Wife of Robert
Hall
< no role > taken before me this 5th. day of May 1784

Who being on Oath say, and first the said Peter Mooney< no role > says
that yesterday morning about 4 o Clock he was accosted by a
Person now present who calls herself Elizabeth Gearish< no role > in the Strand who
took him to the House of James Taylor< no role > (now present) the Kings
Arms on Savay Hill in the Strand aforesaidThat he
undressed himself and went to Bed and the said Elizabeth
Gearish
< no role > soon afterwards laid down on the same Bed with him
but did not pull off her CloathsThat he put his Purse
containing Ten Guineas and Ten shillings under the Bolster
of the Bed in said RoomThat in about a quarter of an
hour afterwards he heard said Elizabeth Gearish< no role > get up
and go awayThat he immediately missed his Purse
and Money and is very sure she stole the same
And the said Ann Hall< no role > says that between the hours of ten and twelve
o Clock yesterday morning the said Elizabeth Gearish< no role > (who
is called "Great Bess") came into this Informants House in
Beaufort Buildings and had a Glass of GinThat the said
Elizabeth Gearish< no role > requested this Informant to let her leave
7 Guineas in her Care which she refused to take alledging
that she believed she had not come honestly by it
