Who on their Oath say and first the said Sarah Spencer< no role > says that
she is Servant to Jacob Kirkman< no role > of Broad Street Carnaby Market Harpsickord
Maker Says that on Saturday night last between 9 & 10 o'Clock she locked
the Coat cellar Door in the Area before her Masters House and did not open
it afterwards that Night. And the said Elizabeth Williams< no role > This name instance is in set 1548. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . says that She
does not recollect unlocking or opening the said Coal cellar Door at any
time afterwards on that Night. And the said Robert Edmonds< no role > says
that the Cutlass now produced by William Stanton< no role > , is this Informant's
property and [..] lent by this Informant to William Duff< no role > now present
on Saturday was a Week between 11 & 12 o'Clock at Night-who at that
time pretended that some Thieves had attempted to break into his
Master's house, and that he Duff wanted a Cutlass to Defend the
same and afterwards on a subsequent Day pretended that He had
broke said Cutlass. And said Timothy Coombes< no role > says that he is
a Watchman and between 2 & 3 o'Clock Yesterday morning as he was
going his Round in Broad Street he observed three Men in said Mr..
Kirkman's Area upon which he made an AlarmAnd the said
James Cridland< no role > says that he came to said Coombes's assistance
and after searching Mr. Kirkman's house some time he found William
Duff
< no role > Robert Reed< no role > and John Lewis< no role > now present in the aforesaid
Coal-cellar-and upon the person of said Lewis the found 7 picklock
keys, one Saw, a Stock and two Center bits and Finder box now produced
together with Matches, Gimblet and Tinder and says that the
said Coal-cellar Door appeared to this Informant to have been
burst open. And the said Thomas Morris< no role > says that he is
Coachman to said Mr. Kirkman and that after the said three
