Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Thomas
Saunders< no role >
says that a person now present who calls himself Samuel
Hawkins< no role >
came to this Informants House at Acton aforesaid on
Friday the 2nd. day of April last to lodge and continued with
him till the Sunday morning following when he went away early
in the Morning unknown to any person in the HouseThat
on said Sunday morning about 5 o'Clock this Informant got
up when he found that his House had been robbed of four
Sheets, two Blankets a Brass Pistal and Mortar a side of
Bacon some Remnants of Cloth and other thingsSays
that from the many Inquiries the said Samuel Hawkins< no role >
made
of this Informant respecting the Fastenings of his House
and Premises, his other Enquiries and his quitting his House
in such a Manner unknown to any Person he is very sure
that the said Samuel Hawkins< no role >
is the person that robbed his
House as aforesaidAnd the said Thomas Watkins< no role >
says that
he this day searched the Person of the said Samuel Hawkins< no role >
on whom he found the Picklock Key now produced
