The Information of Robert Collyer< no role > Junior
of Castle Court Chandos Street taken Upon Oath
before me this 4th. day of March 1784

Who Saith that on Monday the 1st. day of March 1784
about half past four o'Clock in the Afternoon this Informant
Standing on the foot Pavement in King Street Saint James's
to see the Society of Welch Gentlemen Pass, the Prisoner
who calls himself James Napier< no role > came up to this Informant
rushed Against him and Immediately this Informant left his Metal Watch
go out of his fob, Immediately this Informant called to
the Prisoner James Napier< no role > , you have got my Watch and
Cryed Stop thief this Informant Immediately followed him
and did not loose Sight of him untill he was Apprehended
and further saith he is Certain the Prisoner is the Person that tooks
his Watch
