of the Green Dragon at Stepney
in the County of Middlesex
Mariner taken before me this 23rd
day of December 1783

Who being upon Oath says that this Evening
about a Quarter past 5 o Clock as he was going into the
One Shilling Gallery of Covent Garden Theatre a person now
present who calls himself William Hubbard< no role > put his
hand into his Pocket and took there out two Guineas
in Money-That feeling his hand in his Pocket he
laid hold of him when he shifted the said two Guineas
from his right hand to his left hand and endeavoured
to run away but was secured
