Who being upon Oath say and first the said
Joseph Wilson< no role > says that about ½ part one oClock this
day a person were present who calls himself Henry
Simons
< no role > together with another Person also now present
who calls himself George Wilkins< no role > on took from the
outside of the Shop of the said Richard Deykin< no role > the
Umbrella now producedThat he pursued him and
in James Street Covent Garden caused him to be
taken by said Thomas Clapham< no role > And the said James
Carpenter
< no role > says that he was in said Shop at the time
said Umbrella was stolen and saw said Henry
Simons
< no role > steal the SameAnd the said Thomas Clapham< no role >
says that hearing a Cry of a "Stop Thief" and seeing
said Henry Simons< no role > who was running very fast along James
Street Covent Garden he pursued him and took him
into Custody when he dropped said Umbrella
