The Information of Thomas Stevens< no role > of Coys
Gardens Tottenham Court Read Saw and Edge
Tool Grinder and Susannah his Wife
taken before me this 29th. day of Decmbr. 1783

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Thomas
Stevens
< no role > says that about 6 oClock in the Evening of Sunday
the 14th. of Decemr. instant he was robbed in Hackney
Fields by two Footpads of nine Shillings and Six pence
in Money and further saith that he doth verily believe that
a person now present who calls himself Joseph Clark< no role > is one
of the Persons that so robbed him as aforesaidThe
said Susannah Stevens< no role > for herself [..] says that she was
[..] with her Husband at the time and place aforesaid
when he was robbed and was herself robbed of a Gold Ring and a Cloak by
the same two Footpads; and further says that she is very
sure that the said Joseph Clark< no role > is one of the Footpads
that so robbed her and her Husband; and that she doth
verily believe that another Person now present who
calls himself James Randall< no role > is the other Footpad who
robbed them as aforesaid.
