The Information of William House< no role > Servant
to Mr. Calvert< no role > of Theobalas Road< no role > Stable Keeper
taken before me Sir Sampson Wright< no role > Knt.
this 8th. Day of August 1783

Who being upon Oath saith That on the Morning of
Sunday the 13th Day of July last two persons came
to his Masters Stables to hire Two Horses to go to Kew
and to return in the Evening That this Informant told them
that he had only one Horse to let, the other being already
hired - That a person now present who calls himself
John Booker< no role > is one of the persons who so came to his
Masters Stables as aforesaid That the said John Booker< no role >
came again in the afternoon of the same Day and
rode away on a Boy Cropt Mare saying again that
he was going to Kew and that he should come Sack
in the EveningThat the said John Booker< no role > did not
come back with the said Mare till between the
Hours of 12 and 1 on Monday Night And that he then
was in Company with the Man who so came with
him to his Masters Stables on the Sunday Morning
as aforesaid
