Cork in the Kingdom of Ireland and belonging to
the Duncan Cop Craig from Cork to London now riding in
the River Thomas near Bill Dock Wapping and William
Grartrix
< no role > of Youghall in the said Kingdom and belonging
to the said Vessel taken on Oath before me this 14th day of Aug 1783

Who being on Oath say and first She said James Mitchel< no role > for himself
Sageth That last night or early this Morning his Box which was on board
the said Vessel was robbed of Six pair of Stockings one Hat Two pair
of Blue Cloth, Breeches one Blue cloth Waistcoat and a Cut Flowered
Waist Coat.SixTwo Linen Check Shirts and one Cotton Shirt One blue Striped Silk Handkerchief
one pair of Leather PumpsThat theShirtand one pair of Worsted Stockings of the Value of 40s Cotton Shirt the blue Striped
Silk Handkerchief Leather PumpsThatOne pair of the Breeches and
the Blue Cloth Waistcoat and one pair of Worsted Stockings taken from of
the prisoner who says his Name is Thomas Smith< no role > are the property of this
Informant and which were in his Box at the Time the same was robbed
The said William Grartrix< no role > for himself Saith That he was robbed last
night or early this Morning. If one Brown Bear Skin Jacket One blew Cloths Waistcoat One
White Flannel Waistcoat One Red Ba [..] Waistcoat One pair of Linnen Trouser One Check Shirt
[..] Six pair of Stockings One pair of Silver Shoe Buckles and One pair
of Silver knee Buckles of the Value of Twenty Shillings which were on heard said Vessel at the Time of
the Robbery and that the Silver Shoe Buckles and Knee Buckles [..] he this
Informant found on the said Thomas Smith< no role > this MorningFurther
sayeth She said Thomas Smith< no role > was employed on board said Vessel to
help to unlade her and to Watch the Lighter on long side. That he left
the said Vessel some time in the night of last night or this MorningandThattheyhe was
apprehended him this Morning in Eastsmithfield
