The Information of James Collins< no role > of Kings Head
Court Rose Lane Spitalfields Weaver
And Thomas Cranfield< no role > of White Cross Alley
Moorefields Weaver taken on Oath before us
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in
and for the said County the 2d day of
August 1783

Who being upon their Oaths say and first the said
James Collins< no role > for himself Saith that on Sunday
Morning last about half an Hour after one o'
Clock as he this Informant was passing along
Wentworth Street near to the End of Bell Lane
Spitalfields in Company with the said other
Informant Thomas Cranfields he this Informant
was be set by a Gang of fifteen or Sixteen
person (one of whom is now present and
Says his Name is Daniel Daniels< no role > ) knocked
down and beat in an Inhuman manner
That he this Informant lost his Hat which
he believes was taken away by some of the
said persons

And the Informant Thomas Cranfield< no role > for
himself saith that passing along Wentworth
Street as above Staled by the other
Informant James Collins< no role > asThey were
be set as aforesaid and after they had
knocked the said James Collins< no role > down as
aforesaid several of the said persons
