the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
the 6th. day
of June 1783.
This Informant Edward Allen< no role >
on his Oath Saith That some
time in the night of the 4th. day of June his Dwelling house
situate in Hoxton
in the Parish of Shoreditch
was broke open and
Robbed of one Brown Cloth Coat one pair of Corderoy Breeches
twoone Muslin Apron two yards of other Muslin a pair of
Dimity pockets and one silk handkerchief and other things
the property of this Informant. And this Informant
further Saith that the Cloath Coat a pair of [..]

Breeches
one Muslin Apron two Yards of Muslin a pair of
Dimity, Pockets and a silk Handkerchief now produced by
the said Jethro Viall are the same which were stolen out
of this Informants House as aforesaid and are this Informants
property.
And this Informant Jethro Vial [..] Saith That on
Thursday the 5th day of June Instant about Nine O'Clock in
the Morning he saw Abraham Goozey< no role >
the prisoner now
Under Examination and another man with him whose
name is at present to this [..] Informant unknown coming out
of a Tenter Ground near Bird Cage walk
in Bethnal Green
into a field next adjoyning called the Gravel put field.
That when he first saw then the other person whose
name is not known to this Informant had the Bundle now
produced by him containing the above things under his left
Arm And they seeing this Informant several times, stopped and looked about
to see of this Informant took Notice of them,That they
then walked on out of the Gravel put field into Mays Lane
and
from thence across Bethnal Green
into Hair street fields.
That this Informant knowing the said Abraham Goozey< no role >
to be a suspicions person followed then into Hare Street
where he procured one John Yardley< no role >
to Assist him in
pursuing them And they following them into Saint John
street
in Bethnal Green

said John Yardley< no role >
there seized hold of the other man
whose name is not known by the Collar whereupon
