Middlesex to wit

The Information of Edward
Lay
< no role > taken before Us two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that he lives
at the Gravel Pits on the Uxbridge Road that
about half an hour after eleven o Clock on
Saturday Night last, he went into a Public
House the Sign of the Kings head [..] Alehouse at Kensington
Gravel Pits where the two persons present
who call themselves Thomas Arnold< no role > and
John Dearson< no role > was Drinking with several
other persons, that he remained in the
said House for near three hours, and
on his leaving the said House and going
home about fifty yards from the said
CrownKings head Alehouse the persons [..] now
present who call themselves Thomas Arnold< no role >
&and John Deason< no role > ,andwith another person not yet
taken Seized hold of this Informant by the
Collar Dam'd him Swore they would kill
him, demanded his Money and Immediately
took from of his Neck a Silk Handkerchief
and Cut off the Corner of his Waistcoat
