for the said County the 22d day of May 1783.
This Informant on his Oath Saith that on Saturday the
seventeenth day of May Instant above half an Hour Past [..]
nine O'Clock at Night he was Stopt at a place called
Britania Row near the Swan in Hoxton fields
in the said
Parish of Shoreditch
by five men armed with Cutlasses
and was Robbed by them of a Red and White Pocket
Handkerchief and received a Violent Cut on his left hand
with a Cutlas And this Informant further says That
Thomas Ransom< no role >
the prisoner now under Examination
is one of the five Men who stopped and Robbed him
as abovementioned.
