Ninth day of May 1783. And first the said Hannah Gross Sayth that this afternoon
between the Hours of Three and Four she saw the Prisoner who says her name

. without having anything in her Apron That in about a
Quarter of an hour afterwards she saw the said

came out
of the said House with her Apron full of Something, That Sometime
after she this Informant saw The Prisoner with Eleanor the wife of the
said Boyce and Elizabeth the wife George Provost go into the house of
the said Wm. Boyce. The said

he was sent for to search the Prisoner on whom he found the Two Knifes
now produced. that he went with

to the Dwelling house of the said

to examine if any force had been made use off to Open the
Kitchen door That it appeared to him the small Chipel had been used to the Latch
and the other Chipel to the Lock of the said Door whereby the same had been
forced open Lately
