The Information of Rebecca Smith< no role > of Mile
End in the County of Middlesex Widow
Samuel Argo< no role > of the same Place Labourer
and Thomas Hogarth< no role > of Swan Court Petticoat
Lane White Chapel Labr . taken this 11th
day of February 1783

Who being upon Oath say and First the said Rebecca
Smith
< no role > for herself on her Oath saith that she is the Daughter
of Samuel Wood< no role > of Mile End and lives with him there
That on Tuesday the Sixth day of February Instant
between the Hours of Six and Nine in the Evening of
the same Day a Pain of Glass was taken out of the
Window of the Dwelling House of the said Samuel Wood< no role >
at Mile End aforesaid and that three Glass Tumblers
a Small Glass Bottle a Quantity of Blue and Peas taken
out of the Window of the said House and that the
Glass Tumbler and Bottle now produced are [..] the
property of the said Samuel Wood< no role > and Stolen at the
time aforesaid.

This Informant Samuel Argo for himself on his Oath saith
That he Lodger at the House of the said Robert Smith< no role >
Samuel Wood< no role > that on Thursday Evening the Sixth
day of February Inst. aforesaid being there with the
said Rebecca Smith< no role > about Eight o' Clock in the
Evening he heard a rustling under the Window of
the said House that he went to the Door and
there saw the Boy now present who says his Name is Thomas
Wilson
< no role > and another Boy [..] near to the WIndow saith that
he went into the House again and soon after it was Discovered
the Window had been broke open and several things taken
away That he then pursued and took the said Thomas
Wilson
< no role > and found in his Pocket a Quantity of Peas That
[..] near to the Place where he took him he picked
up a Glass Tumbler a small Glass Bottle and a Quantity
of Blue which he now produces.

and This Informant Thomas Hogarth for himself on his
Oath saith that on the Evening of the said 6th day of
February Instant he was in Company with the said
Thomas Wilson< no role > at Mile End together with one James
Birch
< no role > That the said Thomas Wilson< no role > and James Birch< no role >
didwith a knifetake out a Pain of Glass from a WIndow
in a House at Mile End afsd. and he believes they did
take something out of the said Window but what he cannot
tell and that he never wasneverconcerned in any other
Robbery.
