Who being on Oath says that he knows one
Abraham Barew< no role >
and Lawrence Barew< no role >
his Brother
and who is commonly called LowleyThat
sometime in the Month of July 1781 said Lowley
came to this Informant's House in St. Thomas
Apostles
and ask'd him to go out on the Kidd Rigg
that they accordingly went out together. That they met
a Boy near Exeter Change
in the Strand
carrying a
Hat Box and a Parcel, That said Lowley enter'd into
Conversation with said Boyandwho told him where
he came & whither he had been. That this Informant
followed at a Distance. That said Lowley soon after
returned to this Informant & communicated to him
the Conversation he had had with said Boy. That
it was then agreed between this Informant & sd. Lowley
that this Informant should tell the Boy that he
came from his Master who had order'd him to
deliver the Things to this Informt. and to go back
for another Parcel for there was a Mistake. That
by this means this Informant obtained the said
Parcel & that Box from said Boy, That they went into
the spotted Dog, a Public House near the new Church
in the Strand
together where this Informant gave
said Boy some Bear and two Pence. That sd. Boy then
went away and this Informt. took sd. Hat Boy & Parcel
to said Lowley who was waiting at the Corner of a
Court which leads into Holywell Street. That this
Informt. then gave the Hat Box or Parcel to said
Lowley and they walk'd together to a Coach which
carrieddown
