this Informant then get Assistance and secured than
said several Persons and when he got a Candle upon
Examining his Room and Chest found the Bank
Note Money and Cloaths beforementioned all Stolen
taken and Carried away and upon being Informed by the
Woman who Lodges on the same Floor with the
Crotteys that she had seen a Woman in Company
with than in the Evening who had carried away a
Bundle Inquired who the person was but could not
find it out that Night but the next Morning Aldeman
came to inquire after the Crotteys this Informant
secured her which is Ann Davis< no role > the Person now present
this Informant further says that a Goun now produced
is one of his Wifes Gouns & his property stolen in his
Room as above described

And this Informant Elizabeth Ward< no role > the Wife of
the other Informant for herself saith that she confirm
every part of the Information given by her Husband

And this Informant John Bartrum< no role > for himself
saith that he lives with Mr Beetham Pawn broker
in Holborn that on Monday Morning last he
received the Goun now Produced & Sworn to be the
Property of the other Informant Peter Ward< no role > into
Paun for Six Shillings from a Woman who called
herself Mary Gray< no role > and which he verily believes
to be the same person now present who calls herself
