in Holborn [..]
taken before me this 9th.. day of Augst.. 1782.

Who being on Oath say, and first said James Wilson< no role > says,
that a Brown Gelding now produced is his property, and was
feloniously Stolen on Monday night last out of his Field at
Bush Hill in the County of Middlesex , by some Person who
opened the Gate of said Field. And the said James Hopkins< no role >
says that a Person now present who calls himself Charles
Churchill< no role > brought the Brown Gelding now produced to this
Informants Repository on Tuesday Morning last, Booked [..]
him in the Name of Mrs. Sharp of Adams Mews near
Tyburn [..] pike and ordered him to he sold to the best
Bidder That this Informant last night received the Note
now produced by a Boy in the Name of Mrs. Sharp desiring
the Money for the Horse to be sent to whom this Informants
replied that "the Man who brought the Horse must come
for the Money himself"That said Churchill soon afterwards
came to this Informants Repository & said "He came for the
Money", when this Informant asked said Churchill what
his Name was who replied that his Name was John
Wilson< no role > , was a Servant to Mrs, Sharp as aforesaidand
on being further interrogated said that it lived with Thos..
Clement a Nightman near Mrs. Sharper" when this Informant
secured him.
