The Information of Peter Ward< no role > Elizabeth
Ward

< no role > taken before us two of His Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say and first this
Informant Peter Wend for himself saith that he &
his Wife Lodge in a One Pair of Stairs back Room
No 30. Rupert Street St James. that on Sunday
Morning last about 11 o Clock he & his Wife last their
Room safe Locked up and in a Deal Cheat locked up
in the said Room there was a Brown Coat & Waistcoat
Silver Buttons two Cotton Gouns a Pettycoat
fourteen Pair of Stockings Seven Stocks Eleven
Shirts a ten Pound Bank Note about twelve
Guineas & an half in Gold & some Silver & out of
the Chest a Bed Gown & two Apconsthis Informant
further says that a little after Nine in the Evening this
Informant and his Wife went home and found their
Room broke upon and before he examined his Room
he found Margaret Crottey< no role > & Elizabeth Cuttey< no role > sitting upon
the Stairs near to his Room Door and upon Endeavouring
to push his Room Door wide Open found it would not [..]
same little time at last he get into the said Room where
he found Mary Crottly otherwise Cummins and
Amelia Tredaway< no role > the Persons now present and
upon this Informants endeavoring to apprehend
than Tredaway Ran up into the two Pair of
Stairs a Mary Crottey otherwise Cummins thousand
to Cut his liver out with a Knife upon this Informt.
Striking at Cummins Elizabeth Crottey threw some
Beer in his face & struck at him with the Pot
