Street by the Deced's Cart, That the Coach man
Drove on after this Dept. bid him go to the
right side, but stopt the Horses assoon as he
possibly could after the Deced was down
Says that he does not believe that the Coach man
had any intention to do the Deced any
Injury, but that it was Accidental, and
think, that the Coachman might have been
more carefull in Driving

on his Oath saith, That he was in his Chariot
yesterday going along [..] Bennet Street in
the Parish of St. George

That
the Horses were on a Gentle Trot, and at the
Bottom of Bennet Street the Chariot was stopped
by a Cart loaded with Coals, which turned
out of St. James's Street
, and a Hackney Coach
turning out of St. James's Street
, the Horses
being in Bennet Street,beingand on the opposite
side of the Street, Says that his Chariot stood
still about two Minutes, That he saw the
Man who drove the Cart Stagger two or
three Yards and then fell down before the
Near wheel of his Cart, which passed over
his Body as the Horses were going along,
the Deced appearing to me much hurt.
Says that he believes the Man slipped which
occasioned his fall, Says that he sent for
an Apothecary
to bleed the Deced, but was
informed that the Deced died in less than
an hour, Says that his Coachman

Driver, and has drove him a great many
Years.
