The Information of
John Churchill< no role >
Esqr
..
and
John Loyd< no role >
. taken before me this
3rd. day of April 1782.
Who being on Oath say and pish the said John Churchill< no role >
for himself says, that this Day in Covent Garden
his
Breeches Pocket was picked of a small Red Pocket Book
containing one two or more Bank Notes of ten pounds
each after which he observed a Person now present who
calls himself John Mitchell< no role >
standing near him. And
the said John Loyd< no role >
for himself says that he this Infor-
mant was following Mr Churchill with a number of others
as was said John Mitchell< no role >
. That suspecting said Mitchell was
going to pick Mr. Churchill's pocket, he watched him, and
observed him put his right Hand into Mr Churchill's left
Hand Pocket then drew back, and held out his Hand to
a Companion who before had stood on the other side of
Mr.. Church ill; and verily believes he delivered himself
something.
