The Information of Thomas Garner< no role >
and John Mills< no role > taken and made on
Oath before me one of his Majesty's Justices
of the peace [..] for the said County
and Liberty the 12th. day of October 1781

This Informant Thomas Garner< no role > saith that he is a
Servant and drives a Cart for Archibald Bryson< no role > of Rose
Lane in the Parish of Christ Church in the said County of
Middlesex Dyer. That on Saturday the sixth day of October
instant he was ordered by his said Master to go with a
House and last to Messrs. John Freeman< no role > Joseph Freeman< no role >
and Thomas Grace< no role > whole [..] sale Mercers in Devonshire Square
London to being from thence twenty Pieces of Morine in
the Grease their Property to his said Masters House in
Rose Lane aforesaid to be dyed blackThat this Informant
accordingly went and received the said Pieces of Morine which
he put into the Cast and came away with them between
the House of six and seven o'Clock in the Evening, in order
to carry them to his said Masters House. And further
saith that after he had so received [..] the said [..]
Pieces of Morine and before this Informant came to
his said Master House two Pieces thereof were
feloniously stolen out of the said Cart.

And this Informant John Mills< no role > saith that between
the House of six and seven o Clock in the Evening of the same day as this Informant
verily believes, he saw the said Thomas Garner< no role > come
with the said Cart through Fort Street in the Old Artillery
Ground in the Liberty of his Majesty's Tower ofTower
London in the way to his Masters Hosue, [..] that he was
risting on the front Part of the Cart and that about the
Middle of the Street this Informant saw one Thomas
Hodges< no role > with another Person at present unknown to this
Informant come behind the said Cart and steal [..]
