intending to go to her Bed. That on the Top of the Stairs
as this Informant was going into the Room where she
lodged the said William Tribble< no role > overlook her and blew the
Candle out again, and said to this Informant, I insist
upon your going into my Room, and this Informant
said to him she would not and endeavoured to get into
her own Apartment but he caught hold of her in his
Arms and dragged her forciably into his Room against her
Convent and threw her down upon the Bed. That this
Informant screamed and cried out in order to alarm the
Family and procure somebody to her Assistance but
believes no one heard her. That the said William
Tribble
< no role > as soon as he had thrown this Informant on
the bed, locked the Door and took out the Key and then came
to this Informant on the Bed forciably pulled up her
Cloaths and [..] ravished and had carnal
Knowledge of her Body without her Consent. That
when this Informant was on the Bed she endeavoured
to make a Noise and cry out but was presented of by
his Putting his Face close down to this Informant
Month to hinder her so doing. That after he had
ravished her he unlocked the Door and let her out and
she went into her own Apartment. That in a [..]
day or two after find me herself extremely ill from the
Ill treatment she had received, her private pasts being
much lacerated and torn, she made Application to one Mr.
Fortescue a Surgeon in Grays Inn Lane who on Examining
this Infant out advised her to get into an Hospital
That she has been admitted into the London Infirmary
where she had been a patient eleven Weeks and is
now an Out patient. And further saith that the
Reason she did not apply before in order to have the
said William Tribble< no role > apprehended was on Account
