The Information of John Price< no role > of Swan
Court in Swan Street in the Minories ,
Labourer - taken before me this 23rd. day
of July 1781.

Who being on Oath says that on Sunday morning last the
22nd. instant about four o'Clock as he was entering Fleet Street
near Bell Yard , a Person now present who calls herself Frances
Hamilton
< no role > , took hold of his hand, pulled him close to her,
and hugged him with her hands round his Waist . That
in a few minutes after he percieved he had been robbed
of his Watch, Pocket Book, as pair of Stockings and a
Linen Handkerchief, and immediately charged the said French
Hamilton with stealing them, who denied having any
knowledge thereof; nevertheless he is very sure that the
said Frances Hamilton< no role > feloniously stole the same for that
he had them safe when she first took hold of him, and
missed them before he left her.

Sworn before me this
23d. day of July 1781}
