in the said County Weaver - taken before
me this 8th. day of August 1781.
Who being on Oath say and first the said John Brockbank< no role >
says
that in the Night of the 13th. or in the Morning of the 14th of June
last, his Stable, Chaise-house, & Fowl-house, were broken
open by some Person or Persons unknown, and several
Articles feloniously stolen thereout amongst which were the
following Things now produced, that is to say-one Sack
two Saddles, & two Bridles; and this Informant further says
that he hath cause to suspect and does suspect and believe
that Achilles Baker now confined in the New Gaol
Southwark
in the County of Surry, was concerned in the
said Felony. And the said Samuel Yardley< no role >
says that
on Friday the 15th. of June last, he searched the House
of the said Achilles Baker in Hackney road
in which Hence
he found the Sack, two Saddles and two Bridles, now
produced, and claimed by the said John Brockbank< no role >
