Mariner a Lodger at Mrs Dobsons at
the sign of the Quebec at King James [..]
Stairs Wapping Wall Shadwell Taken this
twenty seventh day of August 1781 before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County.

Who being upon Oath Saith that as he was
Walking along Wapping Wall aforesaid on Wednesday evening
last between eight and nine O Clock a Woman now
Present and who calls herself Mary Halerow< no role >
Jostled him against the Rails of Mr. Shepherds
Yard on Wapping Wall aforesaid. gave him a violent
Push and forcibly took out of his Pocket a Canvas
Bag Containing Four Pounds six Shillings and
Eight Pence half penny in Money Numbered
his Property.
