day of June 1781.
Who being on Oath say and first said Susannah Kingston< no role >
says that last night between 11 & 12 o'Clock, as she was coming
along Wyche Street, a Person now present who calls himself
William Harley< no role >
met her, said "how do you do my dear",
snatched the Cloak now produced off this Informants' shoulders
and ran away with it, that upon this Informant calling out
"Stop thief" said Harley was secured and her Cloak picked up
And said Patrick Braidy< no role >
says that he was present, and
when said Harley was secured by two Men who had.
stopped him, this Informant picked up the said Cloak in
the Street about 11 Yards from where he stood when he
was secured. And said Amelia Braidy< no role >
says that she
was present with Mr. Kingston at this time and saw the
Man snatch her Cloak off, and does verily believe that
Wm.. Harley< no role >
now present is the Person who so stole
the said Cloak
