Who being upon Oath say, and first said Hammond Kinnaird< no role >
says,
that within about one Mouthpart, a person now present who calls himself
James Watts< no role >
came to the Hammums aforesaid between 11 and 12 o Clock
at Night and desired that he might have a Bed that Night, on which he
shewed him into a Room on the Ground Floor; and is very sure that when
he left him in said Room, a blue and white Counterpane now produced, was
upon the bedThe said Edward Deale< no role >
says, [..] that when he went to make
the said Bed the said Counterpane was gone from off said BedAnd the
said William Pope< no role >
says that on the 11th. of May last, the said James Watts< no role >
pawned with him, the said blue and white Counterpane now produced and
sworn to by the said Hammond Kinnaird< no role >
for six shillingsAnd the said
Hammond Kinnaird< no role >
for himself further says, that having head yesterday
morning, that said Watts was in Custody, he applied to him respecting his
Robbery, when said Watts confessed his having robbed him, and informed
him of his having pawned said Counterpane with said Pope.
