Who being upon Oath say, and first said Margaret Bowker< no role >
says, that about 12 o Clock in the [..] forenoon of last Friday was a Week
she saw a person now present who calls himself James Watts< no role >
coming down
stairs from a two pair of stairs Room where she believes the said Watts
had lain the Night precedingSays that about 8 oClock the said
Evening, when she went into said Room, to shut the Windows, she saw
a Counterpane and one Sheet now produced and as she do doth verily
believe another Sheet also now produced upon said Bed and a
Pillow CaseThat about ten Minutes after said Watts was gone

the Waiter asked her, if she had seen
the Man go out, that had lain there that Night (meaning said Watts)
and said that he had stolen thesaidCounterpane Sheets and Pillow Case;
on which she examined the Room, and found that they were stolenThe

says, that hearing the said Watts was in Custody
he applied to him, to know what he had done with them, when
said Watts confessed he had stolen them, and said he had pawned
with them with the said Peter Patmore< no role >
. And the said Peter Patmore< no role >
says that the said [..] Watts pawned said Counterpane and pair of
Sheets with him on Friday the 25th. of May last for One pounds four shillings
