Who being upon Oath say and first the said John Davis< no role >
for himself says that he Knows William Cates< no role >
now present
and also one William Herring< no role >
, that he was present at the
Chambers of Sir Richard Aston< no role >
Knt
. one of the Justices of
his Majesty's Court of King's Bench
in Serjeant's Inn on
the 8th. day of April last when and where he saw the said William
Cates< no role >
and that the said William Herring< no role >
was not there, that
the said William Cates< no role >
did acknowledge Bail in the Name of
the said William Herring< no role >
in a certain Cause then depending
between James Crisp< no role >
and the said William Cates< no role >
, that he has
since seen the said William Herring< no role >
who denied having
been privy or consenting to the said William Cates< no role >
's having
acknowledged Bail in his Name, and the said Sheffield
Holloway for himself says that he also was present at
Sir Richard Aston< no role >
's Chambers at the Time above mentioned
and that he saw said William Cates< no role >
acknowledge Bail
in the Name of William Herring< no role >
as above mentioned
