for Felony

Thomas Paull< no role > Gardener to William Davy< no role > of Hammer smith in the
County of Middlesex Esquire the Prosecutor in this Cause Maketh Oath
and saith that on the sixth Day of February Instant the said Robert
Arnold
< no role > and William Watts< no role > were committed on Suspicion of Stealing
Several Turkies and other Poultry the Property of the said William Davy< no role >
And this Deponent saith that Mary Brown< no role > and Ann Watts< no role > who lately
lived at Brook Green near Hammer smith aforesaid are as this Deponent
hath been advised and verily believes material Witnesses for the said
Prosecutor against the said Prisoners touching the said Felony for
which they so stand committed as aforesaid and that without the
Benefit of the Testimony of the said Mary Brown< no role > and Ann Watts< no role >
the said Prosecutor cannot as this Deponent hath been advised and
verily believes prosecute the said Prisoners with Effect at this present
Session for the said Felony And this Deponent saith that he hath since the
said prisoners were so committed as aforesaid made diligent Enquiry
after the said Mary Brown< no role > and Ann Watts< no role > in order to procure them
to appear as Witnesses against the said Prisoners at this present Session
and this Deponent saith that he hath not been able to get any Information
where the said Mary Brown< no role > and Ann Watts< no role > are to be met with And
lastly this Deponent saith that he will use his utmost Endeavours
to find out the said Mary Brown< no role > and Ann Watts< no role > and hopes and verily
believes he shall be able to procure them to appear as Witnesses
against the said Prisoners at the next Session to be held for the County
of Middlesex .
