Who being upon Oath says that he was employed this Night to
watch in the House of Samuel Cotes< no role >

. that a Little before 8 o'
Clock some person knocked at the Door of the said house. that
soon afterwards the said Door was opened by a Key or Picklock
and two persons entered one of whom is now present and call
himself William Branden< no role >
the other made his Escape, that the
said William Branden< no role >
wounded this Informant in endeavouring
to Secure him, and this Informant further says he does
verily believe the said William Branden< no role >
and the other person
who made his Escape entered the Said house with Intent
to commit felony therein.
