The Information of Peter
Brown

Kipping
< no role > and John Dixon< no role >
taken before the two of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the said
County

Who being severally upon Oath say and first this
Informant Peter Brown< no role > for himself saith that
about 3o' Clock in the afternoon of Sunday last her
went to Islington to dine with a relation that about
Eight o Clock he returned towards Town and when he
came near to New River head that is Bicked in
about Twenty yards distance & between this Informt
& Town he saw three Men standing in the footway
which is the path that leads to Town two en one side
of the Path & the other on the other order which greatly
Alarmed him and a lamp was very near the place
& when he came up to them the person now present
who calls himself John Brown< no role > as he verily believes
came up to him with a Pistol in his hand & demanded
his Money & then another person now present who
cells himself Thomas Free< no role > as this Informant verily
believes came up with a Pistol in his hand and look
out of this Informants pocket Six Shillings in
Money and the other person now present who calls
himself Thomas Pinckston< no role > came up with a
drawn Cutlass now produced and threatened to but
him down Immediately if he made any resistance
or words to that Effect that after he was Robbed
they continued upon the same spot & this Informt.
pursued his very to Torn. & called at Clerkenwell
Bridewell & gave there a description of the persons
who had Robbed him And this Informant is certain that
the said Thomas Pinckston< no role > in the man who held the Cutless at him so about
described And this Informant John Dixon< no role > for himself
saith that he is a Servant at Clerkenwell Bridewell
that between Eight & Nine o Clock on Sunday night
last the other Informant peter Brown< no role > called at
Clerkenwell Bridewell & told this Informant that
