he had been Robbed by three Men one of whom he sayd
was a Fall Man with a large Flapped Hatt Armed with
a Cutlass the other Two Shorter each of them apsotal
and that one of them had either a Neck cloth or a large
Handkerchief over a Neck cloth remd his Neck upon
which this Informant went to his fellow Servant
the other Informant Richard Dignam< no role > & told him of it
and they went out together in pursuit of them &about
[..] at a Small distance from the New River head which
is bricked in he saw three Men coming on towards Town
and when he came up to themher saidthe two persons now
present who call themselves John Brown< no role > & Thomas Tree
were first and the person now present who call [..] himself
Thomas Pinckston< no role > was behind & this Informant came on
with Pinkston Brown & Free & Richard Digman the
other Informant followed at a little Distance and they
came on together untill they came to a place called Feather
Bed Lane near the Pantheon in the Spa Fields Islington
when he saw the other Informants Richard Dignam< no role >
& John Kipping< no role > following him that Dignam passed
this Informant & he saw him seize hold of the said
John Brown< no role > & Thomas Free< no role > & this Informant then
Siezed held of Thomas Pinckston< no role > and this Informant
whole Dignam had hold of Brown saw his throw a
Pistol from him & saw Thomas Free< no role > throw another
Pistol pen him & whilst that said Thomas Pinckston< no role >
was in this Informants Custody he Dropped the Cutlass
now produced at his feet & after they had second the
said three Men he went to look for the pistols &
found One of them now produced within Twenty Yards
of the Place where they were taken Broke as he apprentice
by the fall

And this Informant Richard Dignam< no role > for himself
saith that he is a Servant at Clerkenwell Bridewell
that bet 8. & 9 o Clock on Sunday Night last the
Informant John Dixon< no role > Informed himthat a Robbery
of the
above Robbery & they agreed to go in search of the
