persons who had Committed at & they went together
& at a small distance from the part of the New River
head which is in Walled in he sawthethree Mer
whoproved to be the three persons now present
who call themselves John Brown< no role > Thomas Tree< no role >
& Thomas Pinckston< no role > - that the other Informant
John Dixon< no role > joined Company with the said Thomas
Pinckston
< no role > & this Informant kept behind to present
his being known & followed them untill they came to
Feather Bed Lane aforesaid & a little before the saidcame to
Lane [..] the other Informant John Kipping< no role > when
this Informant called upon & took to his Assistance
& this Informant & Kipping passed Dixon and
Pinckston and this Informant Immediately seized
hold of Brown & Free by their Collers & dreve
them up against a Gate & desired John Kipping< no role >
to lay hold of Free which he did when Brown put
high and to his Breast pulled out a Pistol & three
it away - he then saw Free [..] with John
Kipping
< no role > & these Informant drew Brown near him
& saw Free P throw a pistol away that in searching
them he found the Silver Watchnow producedthree
half Guineas in Gold & Twelve Shillings & Six
pence in Silver now produced upon John Brown< no role >
[..] on Thomas Free< no role > . One Guinea in Gold and
Twenty Six Shillings in Silver also now produced
and upon Thomas Pinckston< no role > only a Six pence and
some half pence which this Informant gave him
back And this Informant John Kipping< no role > for
himself saith that he is a Constable & tree near
Feather Bed Lane. that between Eight & Nine o
Clock at Night the other Informant Pickard Dignam
called at his House & told him that there had been
a Robbery Committed. & that there was Man for Main
& desired that he would go with him to assist
which this Informant did. & passed the other Informt.
