The Information of Martha House< no role >
Spinster Taken upon Oath before me
Joseph Girdler< no role > Esqr . one of His
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex this
7th. Day of March 1774

This Informant upon her Oath saith
that on Thursday night last being the 3rd.
Day of this Instant March about the
Hour of Eight o'Clock she this Informant
was Assaulted on the Kings Highway in
Burnhill Row in the Parish of St. Luke in
the said County of Middlesex as she verily
beleives by William Parker< no role > an Evidence,
James Whitehouse< no role > , and James Piner< no role > , and
that one of the above named Person's
did hold her Hands by force and did
feloniously take and Carry away from
her Person A Bundle containing one
Silk Gown, Three aprons, one pair of
Stockings, one Pair of Shoes, and other
things, the Property of the said Martha
House and she verily beleives that John
Hartley< no role > , Margaret Thorogood< no role > , and Mary
Welch< no role > did receive the above things knowing
the same to have been stolen
