John Tyrrell< no role > of Shoreditch Surgeon Saith That he
Attend the Work house four times a Week and Visited the
next Morning after this HappenedThat upon
Examining the Deceased he found a Mortal Wound on
the right Cheek which Appeared to have been done with
some Blunt Weapon That the Jaw Bone was not
BrokeThat the Wound was about a Quarter of an
Inch in Length and about the same in Depth
And it Affected the Maxilary GlansThat Informant
took all the Care of it he could Put a Mortification of
the whole CheekInsodeEnsued both Inside and Outside
That she died last Friday And Informant is of Opinion
That the Wound on the Cheek was the Cause of her death
Saith he Knew the said Ann Holding< no role > That he never
Saw her in a FitThat he hath talked to her divers
times And never thought her either an Idiot or Lunatic
Nor ever Saw her do any Actionshe didwhich might Induce
him to think She was eitherSaith that whenever there
are any of the Poor in the House InsaneHis Method is to
take notice of
it to the Governors
that they may be taken proper Care of
