The Information of Robert Tavernor< no role >
taken upon Oath before me John Sherwood< no role >
one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County 18th. Jany 1774

Who on his Oath saith that on or about a Month ago
he received three Sacks of Wheat from Arnold George< no role >
and two other persons whose Names the Dept. cannot
recollect which he agreed to pay them one Guinea
a Quarter for the said Wheat, which said Wheat was
then landed in a Shed in Kings Head Ally Ratcliff
and carried from thence to the Dwelling House of
William Hill< no role > Cow Keepe r in Sun Tavern Fields ,
for which this Depot. received of the said Hill twenty
two Shillings Pr. Quarter, saith that on the first day
of this instant January Arnold George William Wheeler< no role >
and John Morgan< no role > Alias Thomas Morris< no role > applyed to this Dept. to sell four
Quarters of Malt, when this Depot. went to the said
William Hill to know if he would buy the said four
Quarter of Malt, which the said Wm. Hill agreed to take
and to give him twenty two Shillings Pr Quarter for
the same, and sent his own Cart to fetch the same
and paid Wheeler four Guineas for the said four Quarter
of Malt and Hill took his receipt for the same, Saith that
about Six weeks ago he received from the said Arnold George
Wheeler and Morris four Bushells and one Peck of Malt
which this Informt. gave them about fifteen Shillings
for said Malt, which he this Informt sold to a Man Whose Name he
knows not at the other side of the Water for near thirteen
Shillings or thereabouts,
