Who saith that he is by Trade a Tallow Chandler
That
about fortnight before Christmasagotwo Men Applied to him to take
a shed of him adjoining to his dwelling House near
Bow Common
which he agreed to Lett them at four
Shillings per-WeekThat about four or five days
after the same two Men (& one other) came and took
possession and brought with them divers things
in a Coach & CartThat soon after Christmas he
heard a noise [..] in the shed as if they were at work
thereinThata fewabout last Thursday ten night
having heard the same Noise or Work Repeated He
asked the said two Men why Key were so private
in there Business and what Key were about or
words to that effectThat they answered him
"that two of there Men were afraid of being"
"arrested but if he was so inquisitive they would
endeavour to find out another place That same
time since the said two Men came into his House
and gave him a pair of Metal Shoe Buckles and
pair of Metal Knee Buckles which they told him
they made in the Shed And this Informant further
