The Information of John Brooks< no role > taken before me this
29th day of October 1774

Who being upon Oath says that he is Servant to Mr. Masters of
Holborn Pawnbroker . Says that on the 15th day of this Instant October
a Person now present who calls himself Richard Stevens< no role > brought
and pledged a Gun now produced with this Informant for one
Guinea. Says the said Richd. Stevens< no role > told this Informant that
his name was Thos. Holmes< no role > , that the Gun was his own Property
and that he lodged in Lower Brook Street
