The Information of Mary Sandys< no role > taken
before me this 26th: day of June 1773.

Who being upon Oath says that on Tuesday evening last about 5 oClock
she went to Mr Brailfords in Petty France and knocked at the door
having some business with Miss Boss who lived in said house Says that
John Leonard< no role > opened the door and this Informant asked him where Miss Bossthat
was, he answered she was gone out, she asked him which way she came
out, observing that if she had come out forward this Informant must have
seen her, he answered she was gone into the Park with a Bundle in her
hand, she asked him how long she had been gone and asked him whether
he thought she could overtake her, he answered she had been gone about
6 minutes and believed she might. that this Informant went backwards into
the Park (being let through the said Brailsfords house by the said Jno.. Leonard< no role > }
and enquired of several persons in the Park whether they had seen a Young
Lady go pass, who answered no. that this Informant then returned to her
house in Petty France and Staid about an hour, that she then went again
to the said Brailsfords houseinand knocked at the door and Spoke to the
said Leonard through the Window and asked whether Miss Boss was come
in, who answered no, she asked him whether she had mentioned how
long she should Stay because she wanted to Speak to her, that Thomas

< no role > answered she could not speak to a Person who was not in
the house, that after having been at Pallmall she observed Mary Cobbs< no role >
knocking at Brailsfords door, that after sometime the said Leonard came
and opened the door to this Informant who desired that Mrs.. Wyatt might
be let in also, which the said Leonard refused to do, she asked him who
Miss Boss was, Leonard answered there was a Drunken bitch up Stairs
crying and making a noise, she asked him whether she could see
her, he answered he would send her to her if she would leave word
where to send her, she then went out desiring the said Leonard to
bring the said Miss Boss to her which he promised to do, this Informant
finding he did not fulfil his promise, she told him she would
apply to Mr. Vere which she did at Southampton Buildings and
